Chemonics Internasional Inc., a leading international consulting firm seeks to fill the following long-term, full-time positions for a project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Indonesia Changes for Justice (C4J). The primary objective of the C4J project is to improve the performance of Indonesia’s justice system, a prerequisite fo good governance and sustained economic growth, through cooperation with the Supreme Court and Attorney General's Office (AGO) of the Republic of Indonesia.

Technical Position #1: Court Administration Specialist
The Court Administration Specialist will participate in all court administration activities undertaken by the C4J Project. Activities will include providing technical assistance and training for judges and court staff on effective court administration. The person selected for this position will be expected to take on a lead role and to collaborate closely with project staff and counterparts on improving public access to information, performance monitoring, human resources, budgeting and finance, training and IT.

Technical Position #2: Human Resources Specialist
The Human Resources (HR) Specialist will contribute to all HR activities undertaken in cooperation with the Supreme Court and/or AGO, including meeting with justice sector leaders, organization restructuring, developing regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPS) for recruitment, career development, performance management, and implementing these activities. The person selected for this position will collaborate closely with project staff and counterparts in mentoring HR

Qualifications
Applicants for the Court Administration Specialist must have a minimum of two (2) years experience working with the courts, a law faculty, NGO or project assisting with legal reforms. Experience with court processes is strongly preferred. A minimum education of a law degree (LLB.), or comparable education or experience is required. Applicants for the Human Resources Specialist must have a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the technical subject area and with helping organizations manage and adjust to significant change. An advanced university degree in the relevant technical areas or comparable education or experience is required. For both positions, prior experience with technical assistance projects and donor-funded projects is preferred; written and verbal fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is a prerequisite; Indonesian citizenship is required; strong interpersonal and communication skills are required; and demonstrated skills with software packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
